Jaitrya-nimitta: Signs of Prospective Victory and the Priority of Conciliation (जयलक्षण-निमित्त तथा सान्त्व-प्रधान नीति)

तस्माद्‌ विश्वासयेद्‌ राजा सर्वभूतान्यमायया । सर्वतः परिरक्षेच्च यो महीं भोक्तुमिच्छति,अतः जो राजा इस पृथ्वीका राज्य भोगना चाहता है, उसे चाहिये कि छल-कपट छोड़कर अपने ऊपर समस्त प्राणियोंका विश्वास उत्पन्न करे और इस भूमण्डलकी सब ओससे पूर्णरूपसे रक्षा करे

Transliteration

tasmād viśvāsayed rājā sarvabhūtāny amāyayā | sarvataḥ parirakṣec ca yo mahīṃ bhoktum icchati ||

Translation

അതിനാൽ ഈ ഭൂമിയെ ഭരിച്ച് അനുഭവിക്കുവാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന രാജാവ്, കപടത ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് സർവ്വഭൂതങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസം സ്വന്തമാക്കണം; കൂടാതെ എല്ലാ ദിക്കുകളിലും രാജ്യം പൂർണ്ണമായി സംരക്ഷിക്കണം.
