शूरलक्षणवर्णनम् | Marks and Typologies of Martial Temperament
मेघस्वना: क्रोधमुखा: केचित् करभसंनिभा: । जिद्दानासाग्रजिद्ना श्व दूरगा दूरपातिन:,जिनकी गर्जना मेघके समान, मुख क्रोधयुक्त, शरीर ऊँटकी तरह तथा नाक और जीभ टेढ़ी हो, वे बहुत दूरतक दौड़नेवाले तथा सुदूरवर्ती लक्ष्यको भी मार गिरानेवाले होते हैं
meghasvanāḥ krodhamukhāḥ kecit karabhasaṁnibhāḥ | jihvādānāsāgrajihvāś ca dūraga dūrapātinaḥ ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ചിലർ മഴമേഘത്തിന്റെ ഗർജ്ജനപോലെ ശബ്ദമുള്ളവർ, ക്രോധം നിറഞ്ഞ മുഖമുള്ളവർ, ഒട്ടകസദൃശമായ ദേഹമുള്ളവർ; വളഞ്ഞ നാവും വികൃതമായ മൂക്കിന്റെ അഗ്രവും ഉള്ളവർ. അവർ വളരെ ദൂരം ഓടാനും അതിദൂരത്തിലുള്ള ലക്ഷ്യത്തെയും വീഴ്ത്താനും കഴിവുള്ളവരാണ്.
