असकृत्तस्य देवास्तु व्रतविध्नं प्रचक्रिरे

asakṛttasya devāstu vratavidhnaṁ pracakrire

വൈശംപായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—എന്നാൽ ദേവന്മാർ അവന്റെ വ്രതാനുഷ്ഠാനത്തിൽ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും വിഘ്നങ്ങൾ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു; അവന്റെ ധർമ്മശാസനത്തിന്റെ പ്രവാഹം തടസ്സപ്പെടുത്തി।
