स भिवत्त्वा स्तम्भितं तोयं स्कन््धे कृत्वा5ड5यसीं गदाम्
sa bhivattvā stambhitaṃ toyaṃ skandhe kṛtvā ayasīṃ gadām
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അഭിവാദ്യം ചെയ്ത്, സ്വയം സ്ഥിരപ്പെടുത്തി, ഇരുമ്പ് ഗദ ഭുജത്തിൽ വെച്ച്, നിയന്ത്രിത ദൃഢനിശ്ചയത്തോടെ മുന്നോട്ട് നീങ്ങി. ആ നിമിഷം യോദ്ധാവിന്റെ ശാസനം തെളിഞ്ഞു—ഹിംസയുടെ നടുവിലും പ്രവർത്തി ആചാരഗൗരവവും ആത്മനിയന്ത്രണവും കൊണ്ടു ചട്ടക്കൂടിലായി.
