Resolve for the Mace Duel
न मे त्वत्तो भयं राजन् न च पार्थाद् वकोदरात् । फाल्गुनाद् वासुदेवाद् वा पञज्चालेभ्यो5थवा पुन:,राजन! मुझे न तो तुमसे, न कुन्तीके बेटे भीमसेनसे, न अर्जुनसे, न श्रीकृष्णसे अथवा पांचालोंसे ही कोई भय है। नकुल-सहदेव, सात्यकि तथा अन्य जो-जो तुम्हारे सैनिक हैं उनसे भी मैं नहीं डरता। युद्धमें क्रोधपूर्वक स्थित होनेपर मैं अकेला ही तुम सब लोगोंको आगे बढ़नेसे रोक दूँगा
na me tvatto bhayaṁ rājan na ca pārthād vakodarāt | phālgunād vāsudevād vā pañcālebhyo 'thavā punaḥ ||
രാജൻ! എനിക്ക് നിന്നിൽ നിന്നു ഭയമില്ല; പാർത്ഥന്റെ പുത്രൻ വൃകോദരൻ (ഭീമൻ) നിന്നുമില്ല; ഫാൽഗുനൻ (അർജുനൻ) നിന്നുമില്ല; വാസുദേവൻ (ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണൻ) നിന്നുമില്ല; വീണ്ടും പാഞ്ചാലന്മാരിൽ നിന്നുമില്ല.
