The verse highlights dharma in action: Yudhiṣṭhira, though defined by righteousness, participates in war when duty requires it, and does so in unity with his brothers—suggesting that ethical life includes steadfastness, responsibility, and loyal support in crisis.
Sañjaya reports that Yudhiṣṭhira is present on the battlefield together with his brothers, indicating the Pāṇḍavas’ collective engagement in the ongoing combat of the Śalya Parva.
