प्रादुरासीन्महान्‌ शब्द: श्रुत्वा तद्‌ बलसंक्षयम्‌ । ततस्ता योषितो राजन क्रन्दन्त्यो वै मुहुर्मुहु:

Transliteration

prādurāsīn mahān śabdaḥ śrutvā tad balasaṃkṣayam | tatastā yoṣito rājan krandantyo vai muhurmuhuḥ ||

Translation

ആ സൈന്യനാശത്തിന്റെ വാർത്ത കേട്ടതുമാത്രം മഹാ കോലാഹലം ഉയർന്നു. പിന്നെ, രാജാവേ, ആ സ്ത്രീകൾ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും നിലവിളിച്ചു കരഞ്ഞു।
