चरन्तं च तथा दृष्टवा भीमसेनमरिंदमम्‌ | दण्डहस्तं यथा क्रुद्धमन्तकं प्राणहारिणम्‌

Transliteration

carantaṃ ca tathā dṛṣṭvā bhīmasenam ariṃdamam | daṇḍahastaṃ yathā kruddham antakaṃ prāṇahāriṇam ||

Translation

സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അങ്ങനെ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്ന ശത്രുദമനനായ ഭീമസേനനെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ, കൈയിൽ ഗദ പിടിച്ച അവൻ ക്രുദ്ധനായ അന്തകൻ—പ്രാണഹരൻ—പോലെ തോന്നി.
