“महात्मा विदुरने जो बात कही है, उसके अनुसार मैं उस दुरात्माके सम्पूर्ण निश्चयको आज जानता हूँ ।।
yo hi śrutvā vacaḥ pathyaṃ jāmadagnyād yathātatham | avāmanyata durbuddhir dhruvaṃ nāśamukhe sthitaḥ ||
മഹാത്മാവ് വിദുരൻ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ, ആ ദുരാത്മാവിന്റെ സമ്പൂർണ്ണ നിശ്ചയം ഞാൻ ഇന്ന് അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു. ജാമദഗ്ന്യനായ പരശുരാമന്റെ വായിൽ നിന്നു യഥാർത്ഥവും ഹിതകരവും ആയ ഉപദേശം കേട്ടിട്ടും ദുർബുദ്ധിയാൽ അതിനെ അവമതിക്കുന്നവൻ തീർച്ചയായും നാശത്തിന്റെ വാതിലിൽ നിൽക്കുന്നു.
