पार्श्वतो5भ्यहनत् क्रुद्धो धृष्टद्युम्नस्प वाहिनीम् । उन सबके चले जानेपर सुबलपुत्र शकुनि पुनः कुपित हो पार्श्रभागसे आकर धृष्टद्यम्मकी सेनाका संहार करने लगा

സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ക്രോധിതനായ ധൃഷ്ടദ്യുമ്നൻ പാർശ്വത്തിൽ നിന്ന് പ്രഹരിച്ച് ശത്രുസൈന്യത്തെ കീറിത്തുറന്നു. അവർ എല്ലാവരും മുന്നോട്ട് നീങ്ങിയ ശേഷം, സുബലപുത്രൻ ശകുനി വീണ്ടും കോപിച്ച് പാർശ്വഭാഗം വഴി വന്ന് ധൃഷ്ടദ്യുമ്നന്റെ സൈന്യത്തെ സംഹരിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി.
