शल्यवधे कौरवसेनाभङ्गः, भीमस्य गदायुद्धं, दुर्योधनस्य समाह्वानम्

क्षोभयन्ति सम तां सेनां मकरा: सागरं यथा | युधिष्ठिरको सब ओरसे घेरकर खड़े हुए पुरुषप्रवर पाण्डव उस सेनाको उसी प्रकार क्षुब्ध करने लगे, जैसे मगर समुद्रको

സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—പുരുഷപ്രവരന്മാരായ പാണ്ഡവർ ആ സൈന്യത്തെ എല്ലാദിക്കിലും വളഞ്ഞ്, മകരങ്ങൾ സമുദ്രത്തെ മഥിച്ച് കലക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അതിനെ കലുഷിതമാക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി।
