वसाश्रैवापरे पीत्वा पर्यधावन् विकुक्षिका: । नानावक्त्रास्तथा रौद्रा: क्रव्यादा: पिशिताशना:
vasāś caivāpare pītvā paryadhāvan vikuṣikāḥ | nānāvaktrās tathā raudrāḥ kravyādāḥ piśitāśanāḥ ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—മറ്റുള്ള വികൃതരൂപികളായ, കുശിയില്ലാത്ത (കുഴിഞ്ഞ വയറുള്ള) രാക്ഷസന്മാർ കൊഴുപ്പ് കുടിച്ച് എല്ലാ ദിക്കുകളിലേക്കും ഓടിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. അവർ അനേകമുഖങ്ങളുള്ള, രൗദ്രരായ ക്രവ്യാദന്മാർ; പച്ചമാംസം തിന്നുന്നവർ.
