केचिदूचुर्न तत् क्लुद्धैर्धार्तराष्ट्र: कृतं रणे । यत् कृतं नः प्रसुप्तानां रक्षोभि: क्रूरकर्मभि:
kecid ūcur na tat kluddhair dhārtarāṣṭraiḥ kṛtaṃ raṇe | yat kṛtaṃ naḥ prasuptānāṃ rakṣobhiḥ krūrakarmabhiḥ ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ചിലർ പറഞ്ഞു—“ഇത് ക്രോധം നിറഞ്ഞ ധൃതരാഷ്ട്രപുത്രന്മാർ യുദ്ധഭൂമിയിൽ ധർമ്മയുദ്ധമായി ചെയ്ത കാര്യമല്ല. ഞങ്ങൾ ഉറങ്ങിക്കിടന്നപ്പോൾ ഞങ്ങളോടു ചെയ്തത് ക്രൂരകർമ്മികളായ രാക്ഷസന്മാരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയത്രേ.”
