इत्युक्तवान् गुरु: पुत्र द्रोण: पश्चादथोक्तवान् । न त्वं जातु सतां मार्गे स्थातेति पुरुषर्षभ
ity uktavān guruḥ putra droṇaḥ paścād athoktavān | na tvaṃ jātu satāṃ mārge sthāteti puruṣarṣabha ||
ഗുരു ദ്രോണൻ പുത്രനോട് ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞ ശേഷം വീണ്ടും പറഞ്ഞു—“പുരുഷർഷഭാ! നീ ഒരിക്കലും സജ്ജനന്മാരുടെ മാർഗത്തിൽ സ്ഥിരമായി നില്ക്കുമെന്നു എനിക്ക് തോന്നുന്നില്ല.”
