व्रजन्तु भ्रातरस्तेडमी यदि सत्याभिसंधिन: । मत्परित्राणजं धर्ममिहैव त्वमवाप्नरुहि,तुम्हारे ये भाई यदि सत्यधर्मके पालनका आग्रह रखकर वनमें जा रहे हैं तो जाय; तुम यहीं रहकर मेरी रक्षाजनित धर्मका लाभ लो

vrajantu bhrātaras te ’mī yadi satyābhisandhinaḥ | mat-paritrāṇajaṃ dharmam ihaiva tvam avāpnuhi ||

നിന്റെ ഈ സഹോദരന്മാർ സത്യധർമ്മം പാലിക്കാനുള്ള ദൃഢനിശ്ചയത്തോടെ വനത്തിലേക്ക് പോകുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ പോകട്ടെ; എന്നാൽ നീ ഇവിടെ തന്നെ നിന്നു എന്നെ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിൽ നിന്നു ജനിക്കുന്ന ധർമ്മഫലം ഇവിടെ തന്നെ പ്രാപിക്ക.
