Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Counsel on Restraint and the Pāṇḍavas’ Authorized Return (धृतराष्ट्र-उपदेशः)

शकुनिरुवाच प्रियस्ते नकुलो राजन्‌ राजपुत्रो युधिष्ठिर । अस्माकं वशतां प्राप्तो भूय: केनेह दीव्यसे,शकुनि बोला--धर्मराज युधिष्ठिर![ आपके परमप्रिय राजकुमार नकुल तो हमारे अधीन हो गये, अब किस धनसे आप यहाँ खेल रहे हैं?

śakunir uvāca priyaḥ te nakulo rājan rājaputro yudhiṣṭhira | asmākaṃ vaśatāṃ prāpto bhūyaḥ keneha dīvyase ||

ശകുനി പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ രാജാ യുധിഷ്ഠിരാ! നിനക്കേറ്റവും പ്രിയനായ രാജകുമാരൻ നകുലൻ ഇപ്പോൾ ഞങ്ങളുടെ അധീനത്തിലായി. ഇനി വീണ്ടും ഇവിടെ ഏതു ധനത്താൽ നീ കളിക്കും?
