Rājasūyābhiṣeka-darśana: Duryodhana’s Observation of the Consecration
स हि धर्म पुरस्कृत्य दीर्घदर्शी परं हितम् । उभयो: पक्षयोरयुक्तिं वक्ष्यत्यर्थविनिश्वयम्,विदुर दूरदर्शी हैं, वे धर्मको सामने रखकर दोनों पक्षोंके लिये उचित और परम हितकी बात सोचकर उसके अनुकूल ही कार्यका निश्चय बतायेंगे
sa hi dharma-puraskṛtya dīrgha-darśī paraṁ hitam | ubhayoḥ pakṣayor ayuktiṁ vakṣyaty artha-viniścayam ||
അവൻ ധർമ്മത്തെ മുൻനിർത്തി ദീർഘദർശിതയോടെ പരമഹിതം കണക്കിലെടുത്ത്, ഇരുപക്ഷത്തിനും യുക്തമായ മാർഗം പറഞ്ഞ് കാര്യനിർണ്ണയം പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കും.
