दुर्योधनस्य बलिवर्णनम् — Duryodhana’s Description of Tribute at the Rājasūya
ईश्वरत्वं पृथिव्याश्व॒ वसुमत्तां च तादृशीम् । यज्ञं च तादृशं दृष्टवा मादृश: को न संज्वरेत्
īśvaratvaṃ pṛthivyāś ca vasumattāṃ ca tādṛśīm | yajñaṃ ca tādṛśaṃ dṛṣṭvā mādṛśaḥ ko na saṃjvaret ||
ശത്രുക്കളുടെ കൈവശം ഭൂമിയുടെ അധിപത്യം, ധനരത്നങ്ങളാൽ നിറഞ്ഞ അത്തരം സമൃദ്ധി, അത്തരം മഹായജ്ഞം—ഇവ കണ്ടാൽ എന്നെപ്പോലെയുള്ളവൻ ആര് കുലുങ്ങാതിരിക്കും?
