Adhyāya 45 — Duryodhana’s Distress, Śakuni’s Counsel, and the Summons for Dyūta
विराटमन्वयात् तूर्ण धृष्टद्युम्न: प्रतापवान् । धनंजयो यज्ञसेनं महात्मानं महारथम्,प्रतापी धृष्टद्युम्न तुरंत ही राजा विराटके साथ गया। धनंजयने महारथी महात्मा द्रपदका अनुसरण किया
virāṭam anvayāt tūrṇaṃ dhṛṣṭadyumnaḥ pratāpavān | dhanaṃjayo yajñasenaṃ mahātmānaṃ mahāratham ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു— പ്രതാപവാനായ ധൃഷ്ടദ്യുമ്നൻ വേഗത്തിൽ രാജാവ് വിരാടനെ അനുഗമിച്ചു. അതുപോലെ പ്രതാപിയായ ധനഞ്ജയൻ (അർജുനൻ) മഹാത്മാവും മഹാരഥനുമായ യജ്ഞസേനനെ (ദ്രുപദനെ) പിന്തുടർന്നു.
