मायासभायां दुर्योधनस्य अवमान-प्रसङ्गः

Duryodhana’s Humiliation in the Hall of Māyā

शक्‍्यं वा यदि वाशक्यं करिष्यामि वचस्तव । एवमुक्ता तत:ः कृष्णमब्रवीद्‌ यदुनन्दनम्‌,“सम्भव हो या असम्भव, तुम्हारे वचनका मैं अवश्य पालन करूँगा।” इस प्रकार आश्वासन मिलनेपर श्रुतश्रवा यदुनन्दन श्रीकृष्णसे बोली--

śakyaṃ vā yadi vāśakyaṃ kariṣyāmi vacas tava | evam uktā tataḥ kṛṣṇam abravīd yadunandanam |

“സാധ്യമായാലും അസാധ്യമായാലും—നിന്റെ വാക്ക് ഞാൻ തീർച്ചയായും പാലിക്കും.” ഇങ്ങനെ ഉറപ്പ് ലഭിച്ചതോടെ ശ്രുതാശ്രവാ യദുനന്ദനനായ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണനോട് പറഞ്ഞു—
