बहुश: कथ्यमानानि नरैर्भूय: श्रुतानि मे । जन्मकालसे लेकर अबतक इन बुद्धिमान् श्रीकृष्णके जो-जो चरित्र बहुधा बहुतेरे मनुष्योंद्वारा कहे गये हैं, उन सबको मैंने बार-बार सुना है
bahuśaḥ kathyamānāni narair bhūyaḥ śrutāni me |
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ജന്മകാലം മുതൽ ജ്ഞാനിയായ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണന്റെ ഏതു ഏതു ചരിതങ്ങൾ പലരാൽ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും പറയപ്പെട്ടുവോ, അവയെല്ലാം ഞാൻ പുനഃപുനഃ കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്।
