अर्जुनस्योत्तरदिग्विजयः

Arjuna’s Northern Conquests and Tribute Collection

जरासंधरथं कृष्णो योजयित्वा पताकिनम्‌ | आरोप्य भ्रातरौ चैव मोक्षयामास बान्धवान्‌,श्रीकृष्णने जरासंधके ध्वजा-पताकामण्डित दिव्य रथको जोत लिया और उसपर दोनों भाई भीमसेन और अर्जुनको बिठाकर पहाड़ी खोहके पास जा वहाँ कैदमें पड़े हुए अपने बान्धवस्वरूप समस्त राजाओंको छुड़ाया

jarāsandharathaṃ kṛṣṇo yojayitvā patākinam | āropya bhrātarau caiva mokṣayāmāsa bāndhavān |

വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു: ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണൻ ജരാസന്ധന്റെ പതാകകളാൽ അലങ്കരിക്കപ്പെട്ട രഥം കെട്ടി, അതിൽ ഭീമസേനനും അർജുനനും എന്ന രണ്ടു സഹോദരന്മാരെ ഇരുത്തി, പർവ്വതഗുഹയ്ക്കടുത്തേക്ക് ചെന്നു തടവിലായിരുന്ന തന്റെ ബന്ധുസമാനമായ എല്ലാ രാജാക്കളെയും മോചിപ്പിച്ചു।
