Shloka 42
हत॑ श्रुत्वा नरव्यात्रं राथेयमतिमानिनम् । निराशोड्द्य दुरात्मासौ धार्तराष्ट्रो भविष्यति
hataṃ śrutvā naravyāghraṃ rādheyam atimāninam | nirāśo ’dya durātmāsau dhārtarāṣṭro bhaviṣyati ||
“അത്യഹങ്കാരത്തോടെ നിറഞ്ഞ പുരുഷവ്യാഘ്രനായ രാഥേയൻ ഹതനായെന്ന വാർത്ത കേട്ടാൽ, ഇന്ന് ആ ദുരാത്മാവ് ധൃതരാഷ്ട്രപുത്രൻ (ദുര്യോധനൻ) പൂർണ്ണ നിരാശയിൽ വീഴും।”
