त्वद्बुद्ध्या निहते कर्णे हता गोविन्द सर्वथा । “गोविन्द! भीष्म
tvadbuddhyā nihate karṇe hatā govinda sarvathā |
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു— ഗോവിന്ദാ! നിന്റെ ബുദ്ധിയാൽ (നീതിയാൽ) കർണൻ നിഹതനായപ്പോൾ, എല്ലാം നിഹതമായതുപോലെ ഞാൻ കരുതുന്നു— ഭീഷ്മൻ, ദ്രോണൻ, കർണൻ, ഗൗതമവംശജനായ മഹാത്മാവ് കൃപാചാര്യൻ, പിന്നെയും അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ നടന്ന അനേകം ശൂരന്മാർ. കാരണം ഇന്ന് കർണന്റെ പതനത്തോടെ നിന്റെ ഉപദേശത്താൽ ആ മുഴുവൻ യുദ്ധശക്തിക്കും അന്ത്യം വന്നു.
