भरतवंशियोंके दूसरे-दूसरे बहुसंखयक महारथी भी भयभीत, लज्जित और अचेत होकर शिबिरकी ओर दौड़े ।।
asṛk kṣarantaḥ soddignā vepamānās tathāturāḥ | kuravo dudruvuḥ sarve dṛṣṭvā karṇa-nipātitam ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—കർണ്ണൻ വീണുകിടക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടപ്പോൾ കുരുക്കൾ എല്ലാവരും രക്തം വാർന്നുകൊണ്ട്, ഭീതിയിൽ കലങ്ങി, വിറച്ച്, വ്യാകുലരായി പാളയത്തിലേക്ക് ഓടിപ്പോയി।
