प्रेताश्नैव पिशाचाश्न क्रव्यादाश्च॒ मृगाण्डजा:

Transliteration

pretāśnaiva piśācāśna kravyādāś ca mṛgāṇḍajāḥ

Translation

സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—യുദ്ധഭൂമി അത്യന്തം ഭീകരമായി; പ്രേതഭോജികൾ, പിശാചഭോജികൾ, ക്രവ്യാദങ്ങൾ, വന്യമൃഗങ്ങളുടെ അണ്ഡജന്മികളായ ജീവികൾ വരെ വീണവരെ ഭക്ഷിക്കാനായി അവിടെ ആകർഷിതരായി എത്തി.
