तव पुत्रास्तत: कर्ण सबला भरतर्षभ । परिवत्रुर्महात्मानं क्षिप्रमाहवशोभिनम्,भरतश्रेष्ठ) तदनन्तर सेनासहित आपके पुत्र युद्धमें शोभा पानेवाले महामनस्वी कर्णको शीघ्र ही सब ओरसे घेरकर खड़े हो गये
tava putrās tataḥ karṇa sabalā bharatarṣabha | parivavruḥ mahātmānaṃ kṣipram āhavaśobhinam ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഭരതശ്രേഷ്ഠാ! അതിനുശേഷം നിങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ സൈന്യത്തോടുകൂടി, യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ദീപ്തനായ മഹാത്മാവ് കർണനെ വേഗത്തിൽ എല്ലാദിക്കിലും ചുറ്റിവളഞ്ഞു നിന്നു.
