प्रतिश्रुति: प्राचरदन्तरिक्षे गुहा गिरीणामपतन् वयांसि । यन्मण्डलज्येन विजृम्भमाणो रौद्रे मुहूर्तेडभ्यपतत् किरीटी
pratiśrutiḥ prācarad antarīkṣe guhā girīṇām apatan vayāṁsi | yanmaṇḍalajyena vijṛmbhamāṇo raudre muhūrte 'bhyapatat kirīṭī ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ആകാശത്ത് മഹാപ്രതിധ്വനി പരന്നു; പർവതഗുഹകളിലേക്കു പക്ഷികൾ വീണു. ആ രൗദ്രമുഹൂർത്തത്തിൽ, ധനുസ്സിന്റെ മണ്ഡലാകാര വലിവിൽ ഉന്മേഷം കവിഞ്ഞ്, കിരീടധാരി അർജുനൻ ആക്രമണത്തിന് ചാടിപ്പാഞ്ഞു.
