यथाप्रतिज्ञं योधानां राधेय: कृतवानपि । कुरूणामथ सर्वेषां कर्ण: शत्रुनिष्‌दन:

Transliteration

yathāpratijñaṃ yodhānāṃ rādheyaḥ kṛtavān api | kurūṇām atha sarveṣāṃ karṇaḥ śatruniṣūdanaḥ ||

Translation

സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു— രാധേയനായ കർണ്ണൻ യോദ്ധാക്കളെ സംബന്ധിച്ച തന്റെ പ്രതിജ്ഞ പ്രകാരം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതെല്ലാം നിർവഹിച്ചു. തുടർന്ന് ശത്രുനിഷൂദനനായ കർണ്ണൻ കൗരവരുടെ എല്ലാ ശത്രുക്കളെയും നശിപ്പിക്കാൻ തുടക്കം കുറിച്ചു.
