शरान्‌ नानाविधान्‌ मुक्‍्त्वा त्रासयिष्यामि शात्रवान्‌ | आकर्णममुक्तैरिषुभिययमराष्ट्रविवर्धनी:

Transliteration

śarān nānāvidhān muktvā trāsayiṣyāmi śātravān | ākarṇam amuktair iṣubhir yayama-rāṣṭra-vivardhanī ||

Translation

സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു— “നാനാവിധ ശരങ്ങൾ പ്രയോഗിച്ച് ഞാൻ ശത്രുസൈന്യത്തെ ഭീതിയിലാഴ്ത്തും. ചെവിവരെ വലിച്ചുവിട്ട് തുടർച്ചയായി അമ്പുകൾ വർഷിപ്പിക്കും”— ഇങ്ങനെ യദുവംശത്തിലെ രാജകുമാരി സത്യഭാമ പറഞ്ഞു; അവളുടെ വാക്കുകൾ സ്വന്തം പക്ഷത്തിന്റെ ധൈര്യം വർധിപ്പിച്ചു।
