संजय उवाच तद् भीमसेनस्य वचो निशम्य सुदुष्करं भ्रातुरमित्रमध्ये । संशप्तकानीकमसहामेक: सुदुष्करं धारयामीति पार्थ:
sañjaya uvāca | tad bhīmasenasya vaco niśamya suduṣkaraṃ bhrātur amitra-madhye | saṃśaptakānīkam asaham ekaḥ suduṣkaraṃ dhārayāmīti pārthaḥ ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“രാജാവേ! ശത്രുക്കളുടെ നടുവിൽ സഹോദരൻ ഭീമസേനൻ പറഞ്ഞ അത്യന്തം ദുഷ്കരമായ വാക്കുകൾ—‘ഞാൻ ഒറ്റയ്ക്കായി അസഹ്യമായ സംശപ്തകസേനയെ നേരിടും; ഈ കഠിനഭാരം ഞാൻ വഹിക്കും’—എന്ന് കേട്ട് പാർഥൻ (അർജുനൻ) അത് ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ഏറ്റെടുത്തു.”
