स पपात तदा भूमौ निकृत्त: पार्थसायकै: । विकीर्ण: पर्वतो राजन् यथा वज्नेण ताडित:,नरेश्वर! जैसे वज्गका मारा हुआ पर्वत टूट-फूटकर सब ओर बिखर जाता है, उसी प्रकार अर्जुनके बाणोंसे कटा हुआ वह परिघ उस समय पृथ्वीपर गिर पड़ा
sa papāta tadā bhūmau nikṛttaḥ pārthasāyakaiḥ | vikīrṇaḥ parvato rājan yathā vajreṇa tāḍitaḥ ||
ഹേ നരേശ്വരാ! പാർത്ഥന്റെ അമ്പുകളാൽ മുറിഞ്ഞ ആ പരിഘം അപ്പോൾ ഭൂമിയിൽ വീണു; ഇന്ദ്രവജ്രം തട്ടി പർവ്വതം ചിതറുന്നതുപോലെ അത് തകർന്നു ചിതറിപ്പോയി।
