कर्णपुत्रवधः (The Fall of Vṛṣasena) — Karṇa Parva, Adhyāya 62
तुरगैरग्रयरंहोभिययात्वा भीमस्य शुष्मिणौ | अनीकै: सहितौ तत्र भ्रातरौ समवस्थितौ
turagair agrayaṁhobhir yayātvā bhīmasya śuṣmiṇau | anīkaiḥ sahitau tatra bhrātarau samavasthitau ||
അത്യന്തം വേഗമുള്ള ശ്രേഷ്ഠാശ്വങ്ങളിൽ ആരൂഢരായി, ഉത്സാഹിയായ നകുലനും വീരനായ സഹദേവനും—ആ രണ്ടു ശത്രുസൂദന സഹോദരന്മാർ—ഭീമസേനന്റെ സമീപം എത്തി. അവിടെ ഭീമന്റെ യുദ്ധവ്യൂഹങ്ങളോടൊപ്പം ഒന്നിച്ചു നിലകൊണ്ട്, ആ മഹാബലികൾ रणഭൂമിയിൽ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ചു.
