कर्णस्य सेनापत्याभिषेकः | Karṇa’s Consecration as Commander-in-Chief
तथैव युधि विक्रान्तो मागध: परमास्त्रवित् भीष्मेण निहतो राजउ्शेतेड्द्य परवीरहा
tathaiva yudhi vikrānto māgadhaḥ paramāstravit | bhīṣmeṇa nihato rājann adya śete paravīrahā ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—രാജാവേ! അതുപോലെ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ വിക്രാന്തനും പരമാസ്ത്രവിദഗ്ധനും ശത്രുവീരഹന്താവുമായ മാഗധവീരനും ഭീഷ്മന്റെ കൈകളാൽ നിഹതനായി ഇന്ന് രണഭൂമിയിൽ ശയിക്കുന്നു.
