विह्वलं तं तु वीक्ष्याथ द्रोणपुत्रं च सारथि: । अपोवाह रथेनाजौ त्वरमाणो रणाजिरात्,द्रोणकुमारको विह्नलल देखकर उसका सारथि बड़ी उतावलीके साथ उसे रथके द्वारा समरांगणसे दूर हटा ले गया
vihvalaṃ taṃ tu vīkṣyātha droṇaputraṃ ca sārathiḥ | apovāha rathenājau tvaramāṇo raṇājirāt ||
ദ്രോണപുത്രൻ വിഹ്വലനായിരിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ട അവന്റെ സാരഥി അതിവേഗം രഥം ഓടിച്ച് അവനെ യുദ്ധഭൂമിയിൽ നിന്ന് അകറ്റിക്കൊണ്ടുപോയി.
