सर्वमाह सुदुर्धर्षो वासुदेव: किरीटिने । ततो राजन् महाघोर: प्रादुरासीन्महारण:,राजन! अत्यन्त दुर्जय वीर भगवान् श्रीकृष्णने किरीटधारी अर्जुनसे ये सारी बातें बतायीं। तत्पश्चात् वहाँ अत्यन्त भयंकर महायुद्ध होने लगा

sarvam āha sudurdharṣo vāsudevaḥ kirīṭine |
tato rājan mahāghoraḥ prādurāsīn mahāraṇaḥ ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അത്യന്തം ദുര്ധർഷനായ വാസുദേവൻ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണൻ കിരീടധാരിയായ അർജുനനോട് എല്ലാം പറഞ്ഞു. തുടർന്ന്, രാജാവേ, അവിടെ അത്യന്തം ഭീകരമായ മഹായുദ്ധം പൊട്ടിപ്പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
