अर्जुनस्य शीघ्रप्रयाणं भीम-शकुनियुद्धं च
Arjuna’s Rapid Advance and the Bhīma–Śakuni Encounter
निहत्य पृतनामध्ये संशप्तकगणान् बहून् । अर्जुनो जयतां श्रेष्ठो वासुदेवमथाब्रवीत्,जब इस प्रकार दिखायी देनेवाला वह भयंकर संग्राम चल ही रहा था, उस समय दूसरी ओर विजयी वीसमे | श्रेष्ठ अर्जुन सेनाके मध्यभागमें बहुत-से संशप्तकोंका संहार करके भगवान् श्रीकृष्णसे बोले--
nihatya pṛtanāmadhye saṁśaptakagaṇān bahūn | arjuno jayatāṁ śreṣṭho vāsudevam athābravīt ||
സൈന്യത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽ അനേകം സംശപ്തകസംഘങ്ങളെ വധിച്ച ശേഷം, ജയശീലികളിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠനായ അർജുനൻ അപ്പോൾ വാസുദേവനോട് പറഞ്ഞു।
