ताञ्छरान् प्रेषितांस्तेन समन्तात् स्वर्णभूषितान् । चिच्छेद खड्गमाविध्य भ्रामयंश्व॒ पुनः पुन:,उनके चलाये हुए उन सुवर्णभूषित बाणोंको शिखण्डीने बारंबार तलवार घुमाकर सब ओरसे काट डाला
tāñ charān preṣitāṁs tena samantāt svarṇabhūṣitān | ciccheda khaḍgam āvidhya bhrāmayaṁś ca punaḥ punaḥ ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അവൻ എല്ലാദിക്കുകളിൽ നിന്നുമയച്ച സ്വർണ്ണാഭരണങ്ങളുള്ള അമ്പുകളെ ശിഖണ്ഡി വാൾ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും ചുഴറ്റി വെട്ടിത്തള്ളി।
