कर्णवधार्थं धनञ्जयस्य प्रतिज्ञा — Arjuna’s resolve for Karṇa’s defeat
संशप्तकानां कदनमकरोद् यत्र पाण्डव: | कोसलानां तथा राजन् नारायणबलस्य च,राजन! वहाँ पाण्डुनन्दन अर्जुन संशप्तकोंका, कोसलदेशीय योद्धाओंका तथा नारायणी-सेनाका संहार कर रहे थे
saṁśaptakānāṁ kadanam akarod yatra pāṇḍavaḥ | kosalānāṁ tathā rājan nārāyaṇabalasya ca ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—രാജാവേ! അവിടെ പാണ്ഡുനന്ദനൻ അർജുനൻ സംശപ്തകരെയും, കോസലദേശീയ യോദ്ധാക്കളെയും, നാരായണീ സൈന്യത്തെയും കഠിനമായി സംഹരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു।
