कृष्णोपदेशः, अर्जुनस्य क्षमा-याचनम्, कर्णवध-अनुज्ञा
Krishna’s Counsel, Arjuna’s Apology, and Authorization for Karṇa’s Slaying
उपासर्पत वेगेन वार्योचध इव सागरम् | आसीच्निनाद: सुमहान् बाणौघानां परस्परम्
upāsarpata vegena vāry-oghā iva sāgaram | āsīc chinādaḥ sumahān bāṇaughānāṃ parasparam ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അവർ വേഗത്തോടെ മുന്നേറി, ജലപ്രവാഹങ്ങൾ സമുദ്രത്തിലേക്ക് ഒഴുകിച്ചേരുന്നതുപോലെ. അപ്പോൾ അമ്പുകളുടെ ഘനപ്രവാഹങ്ങൾ പരസ്പരം ഇടിച്ചുമുട്ടിയതോടെ അത്യന്തം മഹത്തായ ഗർജ്ജനം ഉയർന്നു—ബലത്തിന് ബലം തന്നെ മറുപടി നൽകിയതുപോലെ।
