उद्वृत्तानां यथा वृष्टया सागराणां भयावह: । प्रजानाथ! उस समय उनके आनेसे बड़ा भारी कोलाहल होने लगा, मानो वर्षसे बढ़े हुए समुद्रोंकी भयानक गर्जना हो रही हो
udvṛttānāṃ yathā vṛṣṭyā sāgarāṇāṃ bhayāvahaḥ | prajānātha! tadā teṣām āgamane mahān kolāhalo 'bhavat, varṣeṇa vardhitānāṃ sāgarāṇāṃ bhīṣaṇā garjanā iva ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു— പ്രജാനാഥാ! അവർ എത്തിയതുമാത്രം മഹാകോലാഹലം ഉയർന്നു; മഴകൊണ്ട് നിറഞ്ഞു പൊങ്ങിയ സമുദ്രങ്ങളുടെ ഭയാനക ഗർജ്ജനപോലെ।
