Yudhiṣṭhira’s Reproach to Dhanaṃjaya
विपताकध्वजच्छत्रा व्यश्वसूतायुधा रणे
vipatākadhvajacchatrā vyaśvasūtāyudhā raṇe
യുദ്ധത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽ അവരുടെ പതാകകളും ധ്വജങ്ങളും ഛത്രങ്ങളും തകർന്നു ചിതറിപ്പോയി; കുതിരകളും സാരഥികളും ആയുധങ്ങളും നഷ്ടമായി. യുദ്ധം അഹങ്കാരത്തിന്റെയും സംരക്ഷണത്തിന്റെയും മറ നീക്കി, ഹിംസയുടെ കഠിനഫലം മാത്രം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതുപോലെ തോന്നി.
