युधिष्ठिरस्य धनंजय-प्रति गर्हा
Yudhiṣṭhira’s Reproach to Dhanaṃjaya
तद् वर्म हेमविकृतं रत्नचित्रं बभौ पतत् | स्विद्युदभ्र॑ सवितु: श्लिष्टं वातहतं यथा
tad varma hemavikṛtaṃ ratnacitraṃ babhau patat | svidyudabhraṃ savituḥ śliṣṭaṃ vātahataṃ yathā ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—സ്വർണ്ണത്തിൽ രൂപപ്പെടുത്തിയതും രത്നങ്ങളാൽ ചിത്രിതമായതുമായ ആ കവചം വീഴുമ്പോൾ അത്യന്തം ദീപ്തമായി തിളങ്ങി; സൂര്യനോട് ചേർന്നു നിന്ന മിന്നലോടുകൂടിയ മേഘം കാറ്റിന്റെ പ്രഹരത്തിൽ താഴേക്ക് തള്ളപ്പെടുന്നതുപോലെ।
