ततः: शड्खसहस्राणां नि:स्वनो हृदयड्भम: । प्रादुरासीदुभयतो भेरीशब्दश्ष॒ दारुण:
tataḥ śaṅkha-sahasrāṇāṁ niḥsvano hṛdayaṅgamaḥ | prādurāsīd ubhayato bherī-śabdaś ca dāruṇaḥ ||
അതിനുശേഷം ഇരുസേനകളിലും പെട്ടെന്ന് ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് ശംഖങ്ങളുടെ മുഴക്കം ഉയർന്നു—ഹൃദയം വിറയ്ക്കുമാറ്; അതോടൊപ്പം ഭീകരമായ ഭേരിനാദവും മുഴങ്ങി।
