Chapter 45
ऐसी बातें कहते हुए मद्रराज शल्यसे कर्णने अत्यन्त क्रोधपूर्वक कहा--'तुम्हीं देखो न, रोषमें भरे हुए संशप्तकोंने उनपर चारों ओरसे आक्रमण कर दिया है ।।
eṣa sūrya ivāmbhodaiś channaḥ pārtho na dṛśyate | etad-anto 'rjunaḥ śalya nimagno yodhasāgare ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ട് കര്ണൻ ക്രോധം നിറഞ്ഞ് മദ്രാധിപതി ശല്യനോട് പറഞ്ഞു—“കാണുക, ക്രുദ്ധരായ സംശപ്തകർ അവനെ എല്ലാടത്തുനിന്നും ആക്രമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. മേഘങ്ങൾ മറച്ച സൂര്യനെപ്പോലെ പാർത്ഥൻ ഇനി കാണപ്പെടുന്നില്ല. ശല്യാ! ഇതിനെ അർജുനന്റെ അന്തമെന്നു കരുതുക—അവൻ യോദ്ധാക്കളുടെ സമുദ്രത്തിൽ മുങ്ങിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു.”
