विभ्राजन्ति रथे कर्ण विमाने दैवते यथा । “कर्ण! देवताओंके विमान-जैसे रथपर ये ध्वज हवाके झोंके खा-खाकर कड़कड़ शब्द करते हुए शोभा पा रहे हैं
vibhrājanti rathe karṇa vimāne daivate yathā |
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ കർണാ, നിന്റെ രഥത്തിലെ ധ്വജങ്ങൾ ദേവവിമാനത്തിലെന്നപോലെ ദീപ്തമായി തിളങ്ങുന്നു. കാറ്റിന്റെ ഊക്കിൽ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും അടിക്കപ്പെട്ട് അവ കടകട എന്ന കഠിന ശബ്ദം ഉയർത്തി രഥത്തിന്റെ മഹിമ വർധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു।
