यस्त्वस्य विहितो घातस्तं करिष्यामि भारत । प्रधानवध एवास्य विनाशस्तं करोम्यहम्
sañjaya uvāca | yastv asya vihito ghātastam kariṣyāmi bhārata | pradhāna-vadha evāsya vināśas taṃ karomy aham ||
ഹേ ഭാരത! ഈ വ്യൂഹത്തെ നശിപ്പിക്കാൻ വിധിക്കപ്പെട്ട വധോപായം തന്നെയാണ് ഞാൻ നടപ്പാക്കുക. ഇതിന്റെ നാശം പ്രധാനസേനാധിപൻ വധിക്കപ്പെടുമ്പോഴേ സാധ്യമാകൂ; അതിനാൽ ഞാൻ അതുതന്നെ ചെയ്യും.
