चित्रास्त्रैश्वित्रसंनाहै: सोदर्यरभिरक्षित: । रक्ष्यमाणो महावीर्य: सहितैर्मद्रकेकयै:
citrāstraiś citrasaṃnāhaiḥ sodaryair abhirakṣitaḥ | rakṣyamāṇo mahāvīryaḥ sahitaiḥ madrakekayaiḥ ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—വിവിധ ആയുധങ്ങളും ദീപ്തമായ കവചങ്ങളും ധരിച്ച്, സ്വന്തം സഹോദരന്മാർ കാവലായി നിന്നുകൊണ്ട്, ആ മഹാവീരൻ മദ്ര–കേകയരുടെ സമവേത യോദ്ധാക്കളോടൊപ്പം സംരക്ഷിതനായി മുന്നേറി.
