मध्ये सेनामुखे कर्णो5प्यवातिष्ठत दंशित: । चित्रवर्माड्भद: स्रग्वी पालयन् वाहिनीमुखम्
madhye senāmukhe karṇo 'py avātiṣṭhata daṁśitaḥ | citravarmādbhutaḥ sragvī pālayan vāhinīmukham ||
സേനയുടെ മുൻഭാഗത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽ കർണ്ണനും പൂർണ്ണായുധധാരിയായി ഉറച്ചുനിന്നു. വിചിത്രമായ കവചവും അങ്കദങ്ങളും മാലയും ധരിച്ചു, വ്യൂഹത്തിന്റെ വായിൽ മുൻനിരയെ കാത്തുനിന്നു.
