संजय उवाच एवमुक्त्वा महाराज शल्य: समितिशोभन: । उत्थाय प्रययौ तूर्ण राजमध्यादमर्षित:,संजय कहते हैं--महाराज! ऐसा कहकर युद्धमें शोभा पानेवाले शल्य अमर्षमें भर गये और राजाओंके बीचसे उठकर तुरंत चल दिये

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca evam uktvā mahārāja śalyaḥ samitiśobhanaḥ | utthāya prayayau tūrṇaṃ rājamadhyād amarṣitaḥ ||

Translation

സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—മഹാരാജാവേ, ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞ് യുദ്ധഭൂമിയെ ശോഭിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ശല്യൻ അമർഷം നിറഞ്ഞ് എഴുന്നേറ്റ് രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ നടുവിൽ നിന്ന് വേഗത്തിൽ പുറപ്പെട്ടു।
